Photograph of Figueroa Street looking from the west, north of Sixth, ca.1915. In the extreme foreground at center, a wide, paved street can be seen . On the opposite side of the road, a line of utility poles are visible. A long sidewalk runs parallel to the street beside several large homes. Four large columns support an awning above the second level, and a large balcony can be seen on the second level as well. A large palm tree sits in front of this home. At center, a large two-story home with a sloping roof, a small set of stairs leading to the side of the building, and a small balcony on the second level can be seen. To the far left, two additional buildings are visible. A large structure in the shape of a tower capped with a conical roof can be seen behind one of the structures.
