Description
Gong Chee Chong, AKA Chee Chong, was Grace Cushing's cook and servant at No. 1 Cottage Avenue in Mill Valley for many years. He held the same roles for the Jenkins family (who lived just up the hill on Eldridge Avenue) for a number of years, including the late 1910s through the 1920s and into the 30s. He is listed in the 1920 census as being part of the Jenkins household and in the 1930 census as being part of Grace Cushing's household. He lived in an out-building on Grace Cushing's property.
