Mary Pickford was a Canadian-born silent film actress, famously known as "America's sweetheart," co-founder of American Artists film studio, and one of the original founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Photograph shows Mary Pickford sitting and holding papers in court. Pickford was in court to identify personal items that her butler was accused of stealing. Photograph dated May 22, 1961.
