A large crowd attends Pope John Paul II's visit to Nicaragua at Plaza 19 de Julio in March 1983. Many in the crowd are holding the red-and-black flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), the yellow-and-white flag of the Vatican City, and the blue-and-white flag of Nicaragua. In the background there is a large mural of Pope John Paul II smiling with open and extended arms. Una gran multitud asiste a la visita del papa Juan Pablo II a Nicaragua en la Plaza 19 de Julio en marzo 1983. Muchos de ellos sostienen la bandera rojinegra del Frente Sandinista Liberación Nacional, la bandera blanco-amarilla del Vaticano, y la bandera albiazul de Nicaragua.
