The ceremony was held at the Van Nuys YMCA headquarters at 14541 Hamlin Street.
Photograph caption dated April 7, 1948 reads, "H. J. Bradley, chairman (extreme left standing) installed new members of the board of managers of the Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks-West Valley Y.M.C.A. at a special meeting. Taking office were, left to right, seated: F. R. Huntsinger, George Michky, Merrill Butterfield; standing with Bradley are J. Gilbert Paltridge and A.G. Andresen."
