Loyalist mural, Hopewell Crescent, Lower Shankill, West Belfast, 2000. A political cartoon adapted from Tom and Jerry; Spike the bulldog, dressed in a Union Jack top and brandishing an AK47, chases Jerry (or Gerry [Adams]), dressed in a Celtic strip, down the road to Dublin; in the background, the mural references The Diamond Jubilee, a UDA bar on the Lower Shankill, the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet with its controversial mural, Dvis Tower, and the 'Simply the Best' mural on Dover Place.
