Description: Photograph of the exterior view of the Venice Plunge. "Landmark -- This photo was taken of the Venice plunge, famous Southern California landmark, in 1908 when the building was nearing completion. Today the building is a crumbling shell and is doomed. The structure is out of plumb and each day leans a little more" -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated, "June 25, 1945". Verso dated, "June 25, 1945". "Received / Examiner reference library" -- stamped on verso.
