Description
Photograph caption dated March 5, 1965 reads, "Shody Cannon, 4, Cindy, 9, and Kent Moen, 7, investigate a booster engine which properly goes in the center of the three-engine MA5 Atlas system. Built by North American Aviation in Downey, the engine is, instead, on display at the California Museum of Science and Industry until September." An exhibiton entitled Space '65 opened at the Space Museum Building, California Museum of Science and Industry, Exposition Park from March 4 to Sept. 6, 1965. On display were space vehicles, satellites and space capsules.
