Photograph article dated January 30, 1964 partially reads, "Twelve women pilots, all members of the San Fernando Valley chapter of 99's, will solo-ferry 12 new Cessnas 1,434 miles next week in one of the largest mass deliveries of airplanes seen locally. The female contingent will be flown to Wichita, Kan., accept the planes, and pilot them back to Skyways at Van Nuys Airport. They leave Sunday and will return Wednesday... The group includes five flight instructors, four commercial pilots and three private pilots. The 99's is an international organization of licensed women pilots." Photograph caption reads, "Women pilots - Four of 12 women pilots set to solo-ferry 12 new Cessnas from Wichita, Kan., to Van Nuys Airport next week are, from left, Ellen Trindle, Loretta Foy, Florence Dittmar and Mary Kemper."
