Description
Just starting out when most Southern Californians are sound asleep at 2:00 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays, thousands of young members of the swing shift crew that work in local defense plants until midnight have taken over the Ocean Park pier as their own social clubhouse. Here they eagerly flock into the dance hall for festivities.
