Description
The most important section of Hollywood Freeway---the Cahuenga Pass section---is being rushed to completion for opening. This section is the "gateway" which opens fast traffic from the rich San Fernando Valley into Hollywood and the heart of metropolitan Los Angeles. This view, looking north, shows the construction progress of the freeway near Cahuenga Pass. This section was once traversed by Father Junipera Serra. December 26, 1953.
