Plant is in early stages of construction and located on the corner of Rosemead Boulevard (not visible in this angle) and Washington Boulevard (diagonally, middle right to upper left). The Rio Hondo can be seen running horizontally at top, and runs parallel to Paramount Boulevard (horizontally, upper middle). The 157-acre manufacturing facility was dedicated on May 6, 1948 and ground was broken on March 23, 1956. The plant closed in 1980 and was purchased by Northrop Grumman in 1982.
