An unpaved road leads from the foreground to a two-story building at left which sports a porch with an overhang and a balcony. Two buggies are parked without their horses in front. Trees line either side of the road and dominate the frame, while a severely truncated tree missing all of its tertiary branches stands in front of the buggies. People appear to be on the porch of the Road House.
