Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Hotel Columbus in San Andres, ca.1930. A leafless tree stands just in front of the large building that appears to be cement and "has a date of 1881". A small staircase leads to its front porch and two dark doorways while a second staircase leads to a third doorway on the side of the building on the left. Cracks and peeling in the wall surround the many rectangular windows. An automobile is parked next to several trees on the right while a lightly-colored brick building labeled "United States Tires" stands on the left. A rock monument stands in front of United States Tires with a bronze plate "that tells of the important events in the history of the town".
