Description
Photograph of a 20-mule team hauling borax in a wagon as seen from behind, probably in Mule Canyon, ca.1890. Behind the main wagon is a cylindrical tank of water in another wagon. One man stands to the left on the ground with his left arm leaning on one of the man-high wheels of the ore cart. Another man is visible sitting on the wagon driving the team. The team is moving along a dirt path with barren rocky embankments on both sides. (Charlie White)
