Born Apr. 18th 1889, died Apr. 8th 1952. Born in Naples, Italy to Elizabeth Persico and John Malatesta. He immigrated to the United States in 1915, and began working as an actor in Hollywood the same year. Malatesta appeared in over 100 films between 1915 and 1941. He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.
