Description
Vera Schultz's Democratic Democratic Convention Delegate Badge from the 1952 meeting in Chicago, Illinois. Schultz's name, hotel (Palmer House), and room number are handwritten on the back of the badge. The badge features a brass header with the year of the convention and a white enamel star flanked by enameled flags. "Democratic National Convention" is on a banner below. A short, off-white ribbon suspends a shield-shaped medal of the Chicago skyline being viewed by natives and pioneers.
