This letter to Manuel E. Ikari states that in the taxable year of 1948, Mr. Ikari paid an excess amount of $225.52. The Treasury Department paid this amount back to Mr. Ikari along with the interest accrued, which was $5.00. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
