Description
Michael Connelly discusses his novel, “Poet.” He begins by explaining that this is the fifth book he has written, but the first that follows his character detective Jack McEvoy. Martinson asks Connelly to read the first paragraph of the novel. He describes how Jack McEvoy is investigating the murder of his brother and gets to work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to solve the case. He ends the interview by discussing his own job as a crime reporter for the Los Angeles Times, and how many of the stories in his novels are from his real life experiences.
