A letter written to Ken by an unnamed correspondent. The unnamed correspondent says that he tried to recall if K. Kobayashi attended the first Tokyo session, but says that his memory is not that accurate. The unnamed correspondent shares that when he gave the original lectures in Tokyo, a man from NEC named Nemoto served as an interpreter. He also writes that Nemoto was a friend of the man who founded NEC with Western Electric Company. The unnamed correspondent goes on to say that the Sumitomo company was also associated with Western Electric. The unnamed correspondent is probably Charles W. Protzman, Sr.
