Photograph caption dated February 6, 1956 reads, "Experiment tiny aerial photo missile - Radio-controlled OQ-19 drone races down Van Nuys Radioplane Co. launcher. Used for photo reconnaissance, this drone can fly over enemy territory and return with aerial photos in few minutes. Drone is recovered by parachute which can be initiated by 'ground pilot' or automatically if radio signal is lost."; See images #00143807 through #00143809 for all photos in this series.
