Photograph caption dated December 3, 1956 reads, "Mrs. Pat Pope, left, owner of Rafters Restaurant in Sepulveda, gives pledge to underwrite Christmas party dinner for students of Lowman School for Handicapped. Jay Ulis of Sepulveda Optimist Club, which will sponsor party, accepts pledge as Mrs. Beulah Cannon, mother of a Lowman youngster, looks on. Party will be Dec. 18 at Rafters."
