Photograph caption dated May 8, 1957 reads "Charlene Ann Hicks, 19, unemployed airline hostess, and Charles Spiteri, 22, are shown as they appeared in Van Nuys Municipal Court, each charged with one count of robbery. They face preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow before judge Francis Cochran in Div. 46 on a charge of robbing a liquor store at 11230 Vanowen St., North Hollywood."
