Photograph caption dated February 21, 1957 reads, "Family greets shipwrecked fisherman - Hugh A. Davis, 45, gives sigh of relief as he gets kissed on both cheeks by his wife and daughter Doreen, 8, as he arrived in Pacoima with two companions. Fishermen had spent three nights shipwrecked on lonely Santa Rosa Island after 21-foot cabin cruiser smashed on rocks. They were rescued by Coast Guard cutter after fishing vessel spotted them."
