Description
2003-0216. View of wagons loaded with sacks of milled grain at the loading dock of the Jansen Feed Mill, G Street, Lincoln. Five men standing next to the wagons; sign on the building reads, "The Buckeye Mill Flour and Feed Depot". Negative, no. 19,471 (4 x 5 in.) Walter Jansen was born in Bodum, Denmark in 1862 (Henry and Anna (Olsen) Jansen). Came to United States in 1876, settled in Lincoln with brother. Bought and ran Jansen Feed Mill.
