Description
This 1975 planning document contains the schematic designs and program descriptions for a museum building and exhibits to portray and interpret the history of the City and County of Sacramento. It was created by the firm of architect Alton S. Lee at the behest of the Sacramento Museum and History Commission. It was predetermined that the museum building be housed in the reconstruction of the City Hall and Waterworks Building on its former site in Old Sacramento.
