Photograph of an exterior view of the Fitzpatrick House, Los Angeles. In the foreground, a bald slope of a hill can be seen. In the middle, on top of the hill, a three-level house can be seen. A wing at the left of the building is formed by an open patio covered by a trellis along with a set of six vine-supporting strings which extend from the ground level to the upper point of the second level, and then cover the trellis from above. The structure was designed by architect Rudolph M. Schindler.
