Description
Photograph caption dated December 5, 1953 reads, "Somebody's package will be at the bottom of the stack. Ed Richardson, Phil Kenny and Mrs. Margaret Barry inspect one of millions of gift-wrapped packages which will arrive in the mail this Christmas. To avoid crushed merchandise, Valley postmasters advise taking a few more minutes to wrap them properly so they will be received in good order. Both the sender's address and that of recipient should be written inside of mailing carton, for emergency use, the post office advices."
