Date devised by cataloger based on approximate date of event indicated on label on verso of photPF 799, as well as the history of the building and photographer; the Wooster Block was built in 1888 and the Jarvis studio operated from about 1886 until 1894. Printed on bottom of photo-mount: "Jarvis / Pasadena, Cal."
