Description
Postcard shows photo of the Golden Gate Bridge, surrounded by sailboats. One in particular is the Golde Hinde II, a replica of Sir Francis Drake's Ship that had arrived from a 103 day trip from England, greeted by a flotilla. On Back, typed: Dear Linc: Many, many thanks for your thoughtful and painstaking comments on the Tam section of OUTDOOR GUIDE. I know they will rove invaluable. I will respond in more detail when I've had a chance to go over them at leisure. I certainly appreciate also your alerting us to the reversed pp. 72 & 73 so we could insert an Erratum slip in the unshipped copies. OY. With a book of this kind, there are thousands of possibilities for things to go wrong, and occasionally it seems as if Murphy's Law prevails. Dorothy
