Photograph of the exterior of the Potter Hotel, Santa Barbara. The large 5-story mission-style building with tile roof has 5 visible turrets, two of which straddle the main entry. Flags fly from these two. A wrap-around covered porch surrounds the main entry area. A paved drive curves from the foreground up to the hotel entrance through a grassy lawn. Gardens are planted at left and around the base of the building. Mountains rise in the distance.
