Description
Blazing its way through the Sacramento River in circa 1910 is the sternwheeler "Capital City." It, along with its companion "Fort Sutter," were the predecessors to the legendary "Delta King" and "Delta Queen." Architectural features would change from one generation to the next with the shift from wooden to steel hulls as well as a move from open to enclosed paddle wheels.
