Description
Photograph of Santa Barbara Bay from the Bath House, ca.1905. Two piers are visible -- part of one with steps leading up to it in the foreground, and a long one in the distance. There is a promenade with tables with benches on it around the top of a building at left. Several other buildings are visible including what appears to be a huge hotel further back at left. A long line of palm trees are adjacent to the walk and road which are next to the beach. The ocean is on the right. Mountains are visible in the background. Only a few people are present on the promenade, beach, and walkways. An illegible sign marks the arched entry to the pier in the foreground.
