Lieut. C. H. Tucker inspects the "chaser rack" behind the bar at the 875 Club at 875 North Vine Street, formerly known as the "Off the Beat Club." Each pigeon hole in the rack is numbered and is big enough to hold a quart whisky bottle. Tucker said a waiter told him that all club members have numbered cards corresponding to the rack numbers and that when he buys a bottle it is placed in his numbered hole. He said most folks drank all the whisky before they left. Photo dated: January 29, 1941.
