View 1: Gervaise Purcell adobe residence, located at 328 W. Mission Drive, as it appeared in 1928. The L-shaped ranch home was built around 1770, and is surrounded by a wooden fence. Several people, as well as two horses, can be seen along the left side of the home. Mr. Purcell's residence was in close proximity to Mission San Gabriel Arcangel.
