Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated November 7, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Nancy Maria Buchanan, 20, and her son, Kurt, 3, rest at their North Hollywood home today after narrow brush with train in Burbank. Mrs. Buchanan told police her car was on Southern Pacific Railroad tracks on Buena Vista avenue with train appeared and she was unable to move car because of traffic. Mrs. Buchanan grabbed Kurt and leaped from car just before it was demolished by train."
