Description: Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Workman on their golden wedding anniversary, October 17, 1917. Mrs. Workman is wearing the bridal gown in which she was married 50 years before at one of the first "society" weddings in Los Angeles. Mr. Workman, who was mayor in 1887 and 1888, died four months after the anniversary.
