Photographic portrait of Apache Indian Ne-tech-i-ta sitting on stool, Arizona, 1884. The man is shown in full length looking straight ahead with his body turned slightly to the right. He is wearing a dark serape, light baggy pants, and tall leather moccasins. He has a headdress with two long feathers forming a V-shape behind his head. The stool on which he is sitting is covered with a woven blanket, and there is a tall bush behind him at left.
