Description
There's Fun in Them Thar Hills. A record crowd of 10,000 people jammed the streets of Coloma, El Dorado County, to watch the old-time fire equipment parade and to listen to the foot-stomping music in the California State Fiddlers Championship competition. The annual two-day Gold Discovery Celebration, sponsored by the Coloma-Lotus Boosters, is expected to draw over 30,000 today for its 153-entry parade starting at 12:30 p.m.
