Description
Album is bound in textured black material. The title, "The Dangerous Archipelago" is embossed in the center of cover in gold lettering. The number "58" is affixed to the top of spine with glue. Photos in this album are of the aftermath of a 1906 hurricane on the islands of Tuamotus, taken by an Auckland news service. The Londons and Snark did not stop there, and photos were presumably purchased at a later date.
Moderate wear on surface and edges. The right half of the cover has several nicks in the surface material. Only pages 1-17 contact photographs. The remainder of the 96 pages are blank.
