Description
This document contains writing from two different people; the first is a note from Morris to Colman from Suffolk St., speaking of an enclosed proposal (not enclosed) for new lighting in "the Theatre" and an inquiry about how much the theater is willing to spend. The second note is written on the back of the first and appears to be an immediate reply from Colman to Morris on the same date from Melina Place. Colman explains that no cost is too high for this lighting, and says that Morris can be in charge of the arrangements. In a post-script, he also "ventures to answer" for Winston's sharing of the expense, and wishes that "Mr. Glossop" also be "employed in this matter." Morris signature appears on first page.
