Photograph of a distant view of Griffith Observatory, looking from the northwest across Hollywood, ca.1933(ca.1925?). Griffith Observatory sits atop a mountain in the top left background of the photograph. A large shadow is cast over the valley in the bottom half of the image. Notation on back of photo says it is taken from Olive Hill, now Barnsdall Park, but notes indicate that this information is questionable. Back of photoprint indicates that the peak to the right of the the observatory may be Mount Hollywood.
