Photograph caption dated June 16,1955 reads, "Typical of atomic attack survival kit now on market is above, manufactured by Par-Long Manufacturing Company, Reseda, which includes supplies for two adults and one child for a period of three days. Among items are cans of food, can opener, paper and pencil, tourniquet, soap, eating utensils."
