Photograph caption dated February 22, 1957 reads, "Hand-carved headboard - Mrs. Scott Bradley created peacock design shown on bed from standard museum design, as she does for all mahogany pieces in home. Hobby began 20 years ago after fruitless search for proper music cabinet for Mr. Bradley, MGM music director."
