Description
Bob Timmermann was born in 1965 and grew up in the Granada Hills area of Los Angeles, the youngest of four children. His parents, Vernon and Jeanne (Hitchock), both moved to Los Angeles in 1960 from Breese, Illinois, Vernon's hometown. Vernon had operated a dairy farm in Los Angeles, but worked at several jobs before opening his own store in North Hollywood in 1969, before closing it in 1990. Jeanne passed away in 1993 and Vernon died in 2002. Jeanne's sister Mary moved from St. Louis (where Jeanne was also born) to Los Angeles in 1954 to work at the Anheuser-Busch plant in Van Nuys. There she met her husband John Dowd, a native Angeleno from Lincoln Heights and married in 1957.
