Description
Typed on back: "This picture was taken in Dr. Herrold's Study and Reception Room in Stockton, California, shortly before leaving for San Jose to establish his laboratory and complete his Radio Telephone researches covering a period of three years on the San Joaquin River. It was these three years that assisted in the development of his plans on the transmission and reception of radio telephone. This front room was his reception room and the picture taken 'here' because of the light. His real workroom, library and draughting (sic) room is shown in the background."
