One of the well preserved vāhalkadas of limestone, with eight friezes, the highest with animals (elephants, horse, lion arranged in pairs); the middle frieze with a sculpted bracket with a makara-head motif and the lowest with sculptured kneeling elephants, both motifs alternating with medallions with stylized lotuses. An unadorned band at the upper level is embellished with vertical dormer-shaped ornaments, present also in some Buddhist monuments in India.
