Written on back: "Lew Hing, industrialist, owner of Pacific Coast Canning (1903-1932) and investor, part organized, of other major firms. the baby on his knee is his daughter, Rose Lew (later, Rose Lew Moon). The little boy is one of his sons. the photograph was taken in the late 1890's.
