Description: View of men and women examining avocados at the Avocado Show held in Whittier, May 1933. Several long tables can be seen, all filled from front to back with different varieties of avocados. Lots of banners and signs are also visible. Some slogans read, "Eat more avocados", "Avocados make tasty salads", "Get interested in avocados", and among the advertising banners are, "The Nut House", "San Jose (illegible)", "National Fruit Growers Assn.", "Conyer's Candy Box", "Arrowhead Water", and "N. H. Brokaw Avocado Nursery". Similar to 00062813. Photo dated: 1933.
