Photograph article partially reads, "Vince Delgado, undefeated local featherweight, undergoes his main event baptism tonight at Hollywood Legion Stadium when he faces Jimmy Roybal in his initial 10-round try. The 22-year-old Latin, a nephew of veteran campaigner Carlos Chavez, is tabbed by the oddsmakers by a 2-1 margin to make good. A veteran of the Korean War, Delgado has come through 10 pro skirmishes without a defeat. Only a six-round draw with Billy Evans mars [sic] his record. He also holds a win over the latter."
